From Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church:

Come join Trinity on the Hill for our annual Fiesta on the Hill, 5-7:30 p.m. Saturday, May 2. This is a fundraiser and celebration for the church’s House of Hope ministry, an ongoing ministry since 2005.

Highlights of the event will include a taco dinner, silent auction (with goods for the kids, too), a homemade dessert auction, live music and entertainment, and crafts for the young and the young at heart. All the proceeds from this event go towards benefiting our House of Hope ministry, where we partner with Missions Ministries to help a family in Juarez, Mexico, build a house!

In Juarez, the average daily salary is less than $25, and up to half of the population lives in severe poverty. Since 1992, Missions Ministries has been serving the people of Juarez by building houses for low-income families. For their 21st year now, members of Trinity on the Hill and other churches will be heading down to Juarez with Mission Ministries to help build a house for one of these families. They will be working alongside the family, as well as local workers and artisans, to build and furnish a home that will provide shelter and security for the family for many years to come. While in Juarez, we also engage in a variety of community outreach activities, such as serving meals and meeting with previous families.

No need to purchase a ticket! Just RSVP at the Trinity on the Hill website at https://latoth.org/! If you would like to donate an item or service for the auction, including a dessert for the live auction, please reach out to Joanna Gillespie at joken94@gmail.com, or Julie Bulthuis at jwbulthuis@msn.com.

We hope to see you there!
