NMDOT News:

NMDOT is closing N.M. 502 between 4th Street and Canyon Road today, April 9 to install an 8” waterline at Arroyo Lane.

This is a one-day operation, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., barring unforeseen circumstances, which may require the later reopening of N.M. 502 the same day.  

• Eastbound traffic will use 4th Street to Canyon Road and back to N.M. 502;
• Westbound traffic will use Canyon Road to 4th Street to Central Avenue and back on N.M. 502;
• Traffic from Arroyo Lane will detour to 4th Street to go westbound on Central Avenue, and to Canyon Road to go eastbound and back on N.M. 502; and
  
• Access to local businesses and homes will be maintained. Nobody should be cut off.
