The Los Alamos solar array provides power to North Mesa and Barranca Mesa. The array includes test panels from a number of companies. They were gifted to the County after a study conducted in Los Alamos by the County, Los Alamos National Laboratory and the Japanese consortium NEDO. The array sits atop the former landfill.
