Pentecost commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the disciples. Let the Spirit flow! As Scripture has said, “Whoever believes in Me, rivers of living water will flow from within them.” This Sunday evening, June 8, at Trinity on the Hill Episcopal Church, join us in praise, worship, and fellowship as we celebrate God’s gift of the Holy Spirit. EVERYONE is welcome. We’ll have yummy food, great music, and exciting words of hope and encouragement.
We will celebrate the historical event of the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, as well as the birth of the early church known as Pentecost. As Mother Alicia says, “We live in an age where more and more people believe that they don’t need to belong to organized religion to be spiritual or Christian. In this teaching, I will explore why Jesus designed the Body of Christ and why the Body of Christ is critical for society today.”
Join us at Trinity on the Hill for a FREE community dinner and contemporary worship service! Dinner will begin at 5:15 p.m., followed at 6:07 p.m. with the service and a live praise-and-worship band—come see what we’re all about!
