The Los Alamos softball team traveled Wednesday afternoon to Albuquerque to play a district game against the Del Norte Knights softball team.

This was the ‘Toppers’ first district game and starting the season on a winning note would be a bonus. The ‘Toppers started the game by putting two quick runs on the board.

By the fourth inning, the game was tied at 4-4; however, in the top of the fifth inning the ‘Toppers scored eight runs and went on to win the game 16-6.
