The Los Alamos High School Hilltoppers continued their winning streak Saturday at Sullivan Field, where they hosted the Valley Vikings for the 1st round of the 5A State Football Playoffs.
Los Alamos Public Schools (LAPS) staff worked tirelessly to clear the field of snow Friday and continued their efforts until kickoff on Saturday.
The Toppers, as in previous matchups, came out strong, scoring a touchdown and forcing a safety in the first quarter.
Despite giving up several touchdowns, the Toppers never lost the lead. The final score was 49-28 in favor of the Hilltoppers.
The Toppers will continue their postseason play, facing off against Gadsden on Saturday.
