SPORTS News:

The Pojoaque Elks traveled to Griffith Gymnasium Tuesday to face the Los Alamos Toppers in a conference game.

Both teams had similar records entering the match and the four quarters didn’t disappoint, with fast and aggressive play by both sides.

The game came down the last few seconds, with the Elk’s in the lead by one point and the Toppers scoring to take the victory with only a few seconds left on the clock.

Harrison Frank hit a long buzzer-beater shot to secure the win 48-45.
