Los Alamos High School Basketball Coach Mike Kluk talks with his starters during a time out in the first period of the Hub City Tournament played Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the Belen High School Gymnasium. The Topper Boys Team’s first game was against the MAS Charter Bulls, a new charter school in Albuquerque. Despite having no gym to practice in and having to practice outside, the Bulls were full of energy in spite of losing to the Toppers, 69-23. The next game for the Toppers was against Manzano Monarchs, which the Toppers lost 65-71.
