Toppers Host Cleveland Storm In Dual Meet

Teke Nieto wrestling in the 132-lb weight class rolls his opponent over in preparation for the pin. Nieto won with a pin in the 2nd period in a dual match with the Cleveland Storm Wednesday afternoon in the Auxiliary Gymnasium at Los Alamos High School. This match was scheduled to prepare the Topper wrestlers for the upcoming state meet Feb. 21-22 at the Santa Ana Star Center in Rio Rancho. The Storm is a 6A wrestling program leading the state in the rankings, so they were very tough. This gave the Toppers a chance to experience stiff competition before the state meet.
