The Los Alamos High School Topper Varsity Tennis District Tournament was held at Santa Fe on April 26-27, 2024. The boys placed second and the girls came in fourth.
The boys beat Roberston 6-3 in the semifinals, with Spencer Urbatsch clinching the win. They fell to Santa Fe Prep 3-5 in the finals in a tight battle.
The girls team lost to eventual champions Robertson in the semifinals and to Santa Fe Prep 2-5 in the match for third place.
The boys secured their spot in the State championships and the girls may be eligible for a wildcard. But first, the players are headed to the District individual competitions later this week in Taos.
