Teke Nieto was the big winner for the Toppers at the State Wrestling Tournament held this past week in the Rio Rancho Event Center. Despite a very difficult season, the loss of a coach, COVID mandates, illness and injuries, the Toppers emerged and kept moving forward. Nieto finished in second place in weight class 195 losing to Asaiah Kamplain from Moriarty in the final match. Photo by Kimberly Engelking.
