The Los Alamos High School varsity baseball team put on an offensive showcase Wednesday afternoon at Bomber Field, powering past the Moriarty Pintos in dominant fashion.
After a slight delay to start the game, the Toppers wasted no time finding their rhythm, erupting for seven runs in the bottom of the first inning to take early control.
Both teams settled in over the next two innings, with defenses holding steady and runs hard to come by. But the quiet didn’t last long. In the fourth inning, the Toppers exploded once again, plating 11 runs in a relentless surge that sealed the game by mercy rule.
With a commanding 19-4 victory, the Toppers delivered a statement win backed by explosive offense and consistent pressure on defense.
