Topper Girls Wrestling Stands Out At State Competition

The Los Alamos High School Topper girls wrestling program qualified three wrestlers to compete in the State wrestling competition held last Friday and Saturday in the Rio Rancho Event Center. Coach Emily Tew said, ‘We are incredibly proud of all the girls this season. The three that competed at State went above and beyond, putting things together that we had worked on all season.’ Jade Blackhart capped off her perfect season with a win in the 145-weight class defeating Olivia Hovey of Cleveland High School to claim the State Title.
