SPORTS News:

The Los Alamos High School Hilltoppers Varsity Volleyball Team hosted the Taos Tigers in a ‘Dig Pink’ game to promote Breast Cancer Awareness Tuesday night at Griffith Gymnasium.

The district matchup started with a special breast cancer awareness tribute to Hilltoppers who have a loved one impacted with cancer.

The first set was a nail-biter with the Toppers narrowly losing 21-25. The second set was all green and gold with the Toppers dominating the Tigers 25-13.

The 3rd and 4th sets were close but the Tigers relentless offense proved too much.

The final score was 1-3 in favor of the Tigers.
