The Los Alamos High School Hilltoppers varsity girls soccer team hosted Aztec on Saturday at Sullivan Field for the 4A State Quarterfinals.

The Hilltoppers dominated the Tigers winning with a final score of 6-1. Junior Marlee Katko led the Toppers to a definitive win with a hat trick (3 goals), senior Meredith Brown scored 2 goals, and sophomore Dayja Fellers scored 1 goal (1 assist).

Freshman Gracie Haagenstad and junior Allie Holland each contributed one assist.

The Topper defense was anchored by senior goalkeeper Mika Stanfield and a trio of junior defenders Jenna Montoya, Estella Remillieux and Tirryn Sutherland.

The Hilltoppers travel to Hope Christian Wednesday to play at 3 p.m. in the State Semifinal game.
