The Topper Boys and Girls Track and Field Teams took home the District titles Saturday in Moriarty. Both teams finished well in front of their competition, and qualified many athletes for the State meet. The District meet consisted of teams from Los Alamos, Moriarty, Taos, Espanola and Pojoaque. The 2-4A State Championships will be held at the University of New Mexico stadium May 17 and 18. Pictured is Steven Strevell who won the 3200 meter run and qualifies for State with a time of 10-14.
