HGC News:

With spring approaching, the Hilltop Garden Club is gearing up to do some community garden work but needs some tools in order to complete the work.

The Hilltop Garden Club is tentatively set to build a greenhouse in June and plans to begin work on other parts of the garden early in the spring, thanks in part to a generous grant from the Youth Conservation Corps.

The Hilltop Garden’s mission is to provide a space for educational garden-related activities in Los Alamos. The organization has a small budget for the other costs and is looking for gardening tool donations. If you have any old tools just lying around the garage or own tools that are no longer used, please consider donating them to the Hilltop Garden. Call 505.662.3100 or drop them off at the Los Alamos Family YMCA. The YMCA is a 501 C-3 non-profit and can provide a receipt of the donation.
