The host of this year’s Enchantment Awards production is Devon McCleskey, the Enchantment Awards’ very first best actor winner (2016) and a Los Alamos High School graduate. McCleskey graduated from University of Michigan with a BFA in Musical Theater. He has toured with productions of Cats and Pretty Woman. Earlier this year, he appeared in the New York City Center Encores! production of High Spirits.
The Enchantment Awards show is produced by New Mexico High School Musical Theatre Awards, Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. https://www.nmhsmta.org/. NMHSMTA’s volunteer adjudicators attend high school musicals throughout the state. Enchantment Awards participants are selected from those high schools.
