“The Gift of Small Paintings” is an exhibit designed for holiday gift shopping! The show opened today and runs through Jan. 5, 2023. Expect a variety of art subjects including still-lifes, figures and landscapes of New Mexico in oil, watercolor and mixed media.

Participating artists hail from Los Alamos, Santa Fe, Albuquerque and everywhere in between. The more than 90 pieces of framed or finished artwork does not exceed 20” x 24” in size.

The exhibit is open for viewing during regular library hours.

If art patrons find a painting they’d like to purchase as a “forever gift” to someone special, the gallery manager will be onsite 2-6 p.m. Monday through Fridays and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays. During those hours, people can get help with the online purchasing process, then take a packaged-up painting home the same day.

Purchasing the paintings can be done safely online anytime with a bank card or PayPal.
