ESPAÑOLA — The Food Depot is offering a special distribution for former residents of La Vista Del Rio Apartments in Española to shop at Casita De Comida, a no-cost food pantry.

Casita De Comida offers customers a variety of fresh fruits and vegetables, protein, dairy, bread, and non-perishable pantry staples, as well as personal care and hygiene products, diapers and even children’s books.

Casita De Comida is The Food Depot’s newest direct service program. It is located centrally in Española amongst Española Pathways Shelter, Bridge to Health NM, and Goodwill. 

This special distribution is intended exclusively for the former residents of La Vista Del Rio Apartments, and it will take place 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday, April 21. Proof of residency at La Vista Del Rio Apartments will be required for this particular event. Appointments are required to shop, so please register by calling one of our Resource Navigators at 505.501.8433. 

The special shopping time for La Vista Del Rio Apartments residents is intended to offer food security services during a time when individuals and families may encounter difficulty in making ends meet due to the unexpected expense of relocation.
