FOOD DEPOT News:

The Food Depot’s largest annual community event, the Souper Bowl, will take place Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025, at the Santa Fe Community Convention Center. As a valued media representative, we invite you to cover the Souper Bowl.

Souper Bowl, now in its 29th year, is a robust competition among twenty-four local chefs for the title of Best Soup. This foodie favorite sold out in 2024, and the 2025 event is expected to draw a crowd of approximately 2,000 people. VIP ticket holders will be granted access to the soup tasting ballroom at 11 a.m., followed by General Admission at 12 p.m. The winner in each category and Best Overall Soup will be announced around 2:30 p.m. at the conclusion of the event. 

For media access to the event, The Food Depot will grant you a media pass and access to the ballroom and chefs at 10:30 a.m. This allows you to cover the event, but does not include a ballot to participate in the voting. If you would like to vote or invite a guest, you can purchase a ticket for the fundraiser using the link on our website ticketing page. If available, ticket prices increase the day of the event. 

Please let me know if you, or another representative from your organization plans to attend the event. Media check in will be located in the lobby. Upon check in, you will receive a media pass and press information kit. Any media representative covering the event will be required to wear a media pass.
