The Dogs Claim Summer League Championship!

SPORTS News:

The Dogs are an AAU Basketball Team comprised of players from Los Alamos Middle School, McCurdy Charter School, Carlos F. Vigil Middle School, Cleveland Middle School and Sombrillo Elementary. 

The Dogs basketball members and staff were privileged to participate in the Genoveva Chavez Community summer basketball league starting June 12 and ending Aug. The Dogs amassed a record of 6-2 during the regular season, which consequently placed the team as a four seed going into the tournament. 

The Dogs were able to win three tough games against the SF Storm, K9NE and the SF Warriors to claim the summer league championship. The coaches would like to thank the Genoveva Chavez Community Center for a stellar program and the Los Alamos Daily Post for allowing our athletes to be recognized.
