This Friday, July 22, N3B sponsors the Los Alamos debut performance of Northern New Mexico’s most beloved Hispano family band, Los Blue Ventures.
Consisting of multiple generations of the Sanchez family, Los Blue Ventures bring Hispano Dance Hall music to Los Alamos for the first time ever. Known as “Los Meros Meros” or, The Real Deal – they’re bringing the soul of the Southwest to Ashley Pond Park with distinctly Northern New Mexico flavor.
“We’re thrilled to sponsor the first Blue Ventures concert in Los Alamos,” Kristen Henderson Director of Regulatory and Stakeholder Affairs at N3B said. “We’ve been looking forward to this concert all summer. Opening for The Blue Ventures will be a showcase of Northern New Mexico’s talented youth in the first event New Mexico Talent Showcase. There are six youth performers participating in Friday’s Youth Talent Showcase exhibiting various singing genres and musical talents. Also, opening for the Blue Ventures will be a special Flamenco dance performance by Flamenco Company, EmiArte. It’s a night of Northern New Mexico Hispano music and dance.
The Los Alamos Summer Concert Series presented by Toyota of Santa Fe runs every Friday at Ashley Pond Park through Aug. 26.
