Los Alamos County Board of Appeals Chair Terry Priestley listens this evening to testimony during the continued hearing of the case, Sirphey LLC vs. County Chief Building Official Michael Arellano. Despite starting at 7 a.m. and ending at 7 p.m., and hearing lengthy arguments from both sides, a decision is still not rendered for this case. The hearing is continued and tentatively scheduled to begin again at 7 a.m. Tuesday, July 7. During today’s hearing, Arellano was presented as the County’s witness and cross-examined by Shirphey, LLC Owner Pershant Jain.
