I want to thank all those who reached out to me, my mom Sheryl, and my brother Jaret, with kind words after learning of the passing of my dad, Will Parsons.

I would like to give a special thank you to all the family, friends, and community members who took the time to attend my dad’s celebration of life in Albuquerque.

My dad had the good fortune to move to Los Alamos, where I was born, where he met the love of his life, and where they raised our blended family in a community of amazing people.

I have not lived in Los Alamos for 30 years, so my memories are not as strong, but seeing your faces and sharing old stories reminded me of what a truly special place Los Alamos is.

Those who know me know that I am a proud New Mexican and that I will always believe Los Alamos is heaven on earth.
