TechSource, Inc., a leading scientific and engineering consultancy headquartered in Los Alamos, has been recognized recently as a Top Workplace in New Mexico and Washington, D.C., and is a 2022 New Mexico Flying 40 Awardee – for the 10th time.
TechSource has one of its offices in Washington, D.C. and in June the Washington Post named TechSource a 2022 Top Workplace in the Washington, D.C. area. The Albuquerque Journal also recognized TechSource as a Top Workplace in New Mexico for the second year in a row.
“This is based on employee feedback gleaned from TechSource’s best assets, our employees,” Chairman/CEO V. Brian D’Andrea said. “This is exciting news for TechSource and a testament to the culture we’ve built, sustained, and nurtured together for the past 25 years. We have worked hard to enable our team to deliver their best. I am so proud of our entire cohort for fostering this professional, collaborative, and respectful environment where each person is empowered to exceed client expectations while also having a mutually enriching experience.”
Curtis Christensen has worked for TechSource for two years and is the managing director of the Los Alamos project management office.
“TechSource hires hard-working people who are paragons of integrity and selflessness,” Christensen said. “Getting to work with such individuals each day is an honor and a joy as we strive to meet the mission needs of LANL and the Nuclear Weapons Enterprise at large.”
The Top Workplaces program starts with capturing employee feedback on what matters most about a workplace culture. Energage LLC’s Workplace Survey measures 15 culture drivers organized into four themes or “imperatives”. Scoring well on these statements indicates a healthy organization, which means more engaged employees and better business results. Out of 17 million employees across 50,000 organizations to participate in the survey, TechSource achieved Top Workplace recognition.
“This recognition is truly an honor as it is a testament to our employees’ collective voice. I could not be prouder of our exceptional cohort and appreciate their belief in the company,” TechSource President/COO Jeff Giangiuli said. “At TechSource, we are committed to cultivating an inclusive employee focused environment that supports personal and professional growth. Our ability to retain and attract talent is what truly makes us an employer of choice.”
TechSource Vice President, General Counsel and HR Director Barry Shulock added, “When employees feel appreciated, believe in leadership, and are aligned with where the company is headed, as evidenced by this wonderful feedback and recognition, it is no coincidence that TechSource has achieved record growth and revenue. We know that there is a direct correlation between employee engagement and revenue growth. Appreciating employees and providing an inclusive and customer-focused work culture is sound business and the basis of our success.”
Christel Hanson is a corporate strategy analyst who has worked at TechSource for 12 years.
“TechSource is the most flexible, generous employer I’ve ever worked for,” Hanson said. “I appreciate their integrity, their philanthropy, and that—while they have high expectations—they truly value their people.”
In addition to being named a Top Workplace in New Mexico and Washington, D.C., TechSource was recently honored for the 10th time as one of the fastest growing companies in New Mexico. The company was selected as one of New Mexico’s 2022 Technology Flying 40 awardees for excellence and growth in high-tech. Maintaining sustained performance that delivers the growth recognized for this award, especially during these challenging times of pandemic is quite an achievement.
“The Flying 40 award is a well-deserved opportunity to once again recognize our people,” D’Andrea said. “Our success, growth, and on-going evolution at its core is driven by our people. Their commitment to delivering implementable results, from policy to test bench, has made us a trusted partner to those faced with solving problems to some of the most complex issues facing the nation today. As TechSource continues to grow and expand its operational footprint in New Mexico, we endeavor to be included on this list for years to come.”
Giangiuli said, “This recognition is special. It cannot be bought – it must be earned. It is a validation of the hard work we have done to foster an environment where employees feel valued for their ideas and actions. TechSource’s success on all fronts is a direct result of our employees’ integrity, work ethic, and passion.”
Shulock added, “It is an exciting time to be at TechSource. We continue to drive employee engagement, growth, and revenue. With the opening of our new Albuquerque Office, TechSource is well-positioned to strengthen our presence in New Mexico’s largest metropolitan area and meet the needs of our customers. Being recognized again as a top-tier employer incentivizes us to make TechSource a welcoming home to even more qualified workers from diverse backgrounds and specialties. Even though this is the 10th time TechSource has been recognized with this honor, we continue to treat every day as an opportunity to improve.”
TechSource, Inc. was founded in 1997 by Dr. Pierre Grand and Dr. Thomas Ward. The science and engineering consultancy is now comprised of more than 500 senior-level engineers, scientists, and leaders from the national laboratories, Federal technology programs, and the nuclear industry.
