TechSource News:

ALBUQUERQUE – TechSource, headquartered in downtown Los Alamos, held an open house Oct. 25 to welcome clients, colleagues and employees to its new office space in Albuquerque.

The open house was attended by many associates eager to see the space that has been in the works since the beginning of 2021. Festivities included a ribbon cutting, tours of the office capabilities, partaking in a delicious work of art by caterer Eatentions, and reconnecting with people. The celebration offered an opportunity to connect with people in a way not possible for several years.

“We are thrilled to establish ourselves in the Albuquerque area. Being able to welcome people into our new space has been a real pleasure,” said Kevin Bovee, Managing Director of Albuquerque Program Management Office (ABQ PMO). “We look forward to investing in Albuquerque with our clients, our industry partners, and local community with continued partnership and engagements.”

Bovee, was appointed the Managing Director of the ABQ PMO in January 2021 and curated a team to bring the concept to life. TechSource’s then Executive Vice President, Don Trost, and Vice President, Barry Shulock, worked tirelessly to find the space during the peak of the pandemic, and Corporate Architect, Dana D’Andrea, created the innovative design that would best suit the diverse needs of a growing company. She designed the state-of-the-art space to accommodate the company’s growing business base, colocate to the emerging clients, and provide an advanced collaboration space for people local to Albuquerque to engage in national projects.

Since opening its doors in June, the ABQ PMO has become a home base for projects and clients including those with the National Nuclear Security Administration, Sandia National Laboratories, and the Air Force Nuclear Weapons Center. The new office also is home to the Weapons Knowledge Preservation and Transfer initiative: an industry leading knowledge management and professional development initiative.
