Team NM U14 Hockey Heading To Nationals

SPORTS News:

Team NM Hockey, U14, will be traveling at the end of March to Salt Lake City to compete for the National Tier II Championship.

Five of the 16 players are from Los Alamos. This is an impressive number of local players as kids from all over (and as far away as Las Cruces) have earned positions on this team with tryouts back in June 2014. This tournament represents the best teams from each state across the United States at the AA level.

Coached by Joey Carroll, a competitive hockey player and experienced athletic professional, this team has trained hard for nine months and has competed in tournaments in Dallas, three in Colorado, and one in Phoenix, qualifying them for a chance to play for the National title.
