Los Alamos Team 4-H visited the Roy-El Morgan Farm in Española Jan. 11.
The Roy-El story began more than 50 years ago and the Farm is located in Española. Throughout the years, Roy-El has had many regional, national and world champion horses.
Erlene Seybold-Smythe, granddaughter of the founders, has followed the family tradition and is a highly regarded trainer and instructor.
Seybold-Smythe allowed Team 4-H to tour the facility and see all the horses, donkeys, chickens and dogs. They learned about the different types of horses, horse training and horse rescue.
