LAAOR News:
The Los Alamos Association of Realtors® held its annual President’s Breakfast Wednesday at Cottonwood on the Greens.
The attending Realtors® and Affiliates enjoyed a pancake, french toast and waffle buffet, welcomed new Realtors®, inducted the 2016 Board of Directors and honored 2015 Realtor® of the Year recipient Tammy Lu Olinger.
Olinger has been in real estate for 14 years and works at Re/Max of Los Alamos. She has served on the LAAOR® board in every position over the last 14 years and is a valuable member of the organization, outgoing president Cindy Hollabaugh said. She is a self-professed theater devotee and has worked for the Santa Fe Opera and St. Vincent’s Hospital prior to becoming a Realtor®.
Olinger is married to Chad Olinger and the couple has two children, Brandon and Miranda who Olinger describes as her support system and the light of her life.
The 2016 Board, inducted during Wednesday’s event, includes President David Horpedahl, President-Elect Anna-Earlene Caspersen, Secretary Mary Anne Beard, Treasurer Tammy Lu Olinger and Directors James Chrobocinski, Chris Ortega and Carrie Montoya-Pegg.

“We are all very fortunate they have joined our organization,” Hollabaugh said.
Before turning over her president’s gavel, Hollabaugh presented a year in review by thanking all the members for their participation and support. She also thanked all the affiliates for helping the Realtors® do business and helping their customers and clients. She thanked her family including husband John and children Kimmie, Amy and Anne for their support as well as four Realtors® who have been mentors and supporters, Lori Clay, Ardy Hafer, Lauren MacDonald and Pearl White.
Hollabaugh also covered the accomplishments that LAAOR® has made this year, which include two different scholarships for children of Realtors®, Open House Sunday in April, Voter Registration efforts in conjunction with the Los Alamos County Clerk and the title companies, an updated website, Facebook page and Twitter account. Cindy also thanked all the Realtors® for the hundreds of hours of volunteer work that they are involved with throughout the community.
