He will share dramatic photographs and fun tidbits about the life cycle and reproductive process of these wonderful creatures, and he will demonstrate how to catch dragonflies without a net.

This program is free to attend, and no advance registration is required.

Price grew up in Los Alamos and graduated from Los Alamos High School. At Utah State University he completed his Master’s thesis and then received his PhD from Washington State University. Over the past six years, Price has spent much of his spare time performing a survey of the lichens, algae, mosses, fungi, slime molds, and dragonflies of the Valles Caldera National Preserve.
