Survivors of Suicide Support Group for Teens Forming

SSSG News:

The Survivors of Suicide Support Group for Teens meets 4-5:30 p.m., the first and third Monday of each month beginning June 17 in the Conference Room at the Small Business Center, 190 Central Park Square.

Teens affected by the suicide of another person are invited to join the group, which provides a  safe, confidential environment where people can benefit from the experience of others.

Because safety and confidentiality are important, this group will only be open to teens between the ages of 14-18.

We recognized that parents want their children to be in a safe environment and we are inviting parents to meet with both facilitators from 4-5:30 p.m. Monday, June 3,” facilitator Aimee Schnedler said.

If you are not able to attend or have questions, call Aimee Schnedler, LMHC (505-695-5188) or Laura Woodring, LMHC (505-948-8752). Both are certified grief counselors and survivors themselves.
