The Hive is holding its first ever Mini-Sumo Robot Rumble starting at noon Saturday, July 13 and continuing until there is a winner. The public is invited to visit the Hive and watch the competition. The Hive is at 134 N.M. 4, in White Rock just east of Metzger's Do it Best Hardware.
Mini-Sumo Robots are electronic gadgets that are fun to build and program without extensive technical knowledge. The Hive plans to offer more Mini-Sumo Robot building classes along with Arduino Microprocessor instruction. The Hive will periodically hold Mini-Sumo Robot battle competitions, so it's not too late to get involved.
Stop by the Hive Saturday to find out what the competition is all about. The people at the Hive are friendly and would love a chance to explain the workings of the robots and have fans rooting for robots in the competition.
