The Los Alamos County Summer Concert is on tonight regardless of whether it continues to rain!

Country music star Dale Watson and his band the Lonestars from Austin, Texas perform at 7 p.m. at Ashley Pond Park.

Watson has been dubbed by the Austin Chronicle as the “silver pompadoured, baritone beltin’, Lone Star drinkin’, honky-tonk hellraiser.” He also plays rockabilly and Texas swing. He has guested on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”, “The David Letterman Show”, “Austin City Limits” and “The Sun Sessions” on PBS. He’s a country music maverick, a true outlaw who stands alongside Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and George Strait as one of the finest country singers and songwriters from the Lone Star State.
