SANTA FE – More than 40 years after the suit was first filed, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced today a historic settlement intended to equitably resolve the long-running litigation that developed into the stipulated agreement commonly known as the Duran consent decree.

Fatal Rollover Crash In Santa Fe County

SANTA FE COUNTY — At about 8:45 p.m., Tuesday, the New Mexico State Police investigated a fatal rollover crash on the Interstate 25 frontage road and West Metro Road around Interstate 25, mile post 276, near Santa Fe. 

The initial investigation indicated that a 2006 black BMW SUV occupied by three individuals was traveling south on the Interstate 25 frontage road at a high rate of speed. For reasons still under investigation, the BMW left the roadway and rolled.

Governor’s Mansion Furnishings On Sale To Public

SANTA FE Furnishings removed from the governor’s mansion will be available for sale to the public 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at the State Surplus warehouse in Santa Fe.
 
The furnishings include a kitchen table with chairs, dressers, side tables, lamps, coffee table, lounging chair, framed prints and knick-knacks. The items were sent to State Surplus after Gov. Susana Martinez left office at the end of 2018.
 
About a dozen government vehicles also will be available at the monthly public sale of the State Surplus Bureau. Other items available include knives surrendered
