State Determines Triad National Security Will Pay GRT

The State of New Mexico finds that Los Alamos National Laboratory’s newly designated management and operating contactor Triad National Security, LLC will pay Gross Receipts Tax. Triad’s Scott Sudduth, who represents Texas A&M, center, announced at the Northern New Mexico Community Stakeholders meeting underway this evening at Fuller Lodge, that the State has determined that Triad is structured to pay GRT. When specifically asked by the Los Alamos Daily Post if Triad will pay GRT, Sudduth confirmed that the state has determined that the company is required to pay GRT. Triad is scheduled to take over management of the Lab Nov. 1. During the break this evening, Sudduth chatted with County Councilor Morrie Pongratz, standing, and Don Cobb.
