Two of the Incredibles, aka Matt Schmidt and his son Adam, zoom through today’s Family YMCA’s 5K Firecracker Fun Run and Walk in downtown Los Alamos. Under 19 Rugby Teams Host Fundraiser July 4

The Los Alamos Under 19s boys and girls teams are holding a fundraiser during the Fourth of July celebration at Overlook Park. All proceeds from the Atomic Roasted Corn booth go toward purchasing new uniforms for the Los Alamos Nukes boys and the Los Alamos Bombshells girls teams. Three flavors of roasted corn will be offered; green chile bacon, chipotle and butter parmesan. Los Alamos High School Girls Soccer LEAD Summer Camp 2017 is Monday July 10 through Thursday July 13.

Times Each Day: 

  • 7-8:30 a.m. on Field
  • 8:30-9 a.m. Leadership training
  • 3-4:30 p.m. on Field
  • 4:30-5 p.m. Leadership training

Age groups: All incoming 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th graders.

Senators Introduce Strongest Legislative Package Of Sportsmen’s Priorities In Years

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Only hours ahead of their departure for the Fourth of July recess, Sen. John Barrasso (R-WY), Sen. Ben Cardin (D-MD), and a bipartisan group of senators introduced S. 1514, a strong package of bills that would benefit fish and wildlife habitat nationwide, while funding critical watershed restoration efforts in the Mid-Atlantic and improving access for recreational shooters on public lands.
