NMDCA News:

Join staff at Coronado Historic Site at Kuaua Pueblo for a gardening series that shares various methods of planting in New Mexico. The series will take place from 10:30–11:30 a.m., on the third Wednesday of month, beginning April 15.

Ranger Anthony will lead the first program in a monthly gardening series. Each month he will focus on a different aspect of garden care and maintenance. This month he’ll talk about the different types of plants planned for this year’s garden at Coronado and will begin planting seeds. You will be able to take home seeds saved from last year’s site garden and also bring seeds from your own home garden to exchange.

Come dressed for outdoor garden work. This program is included with admission of $7 for adults and free to children 16 years and younger, NM residents 60+ with ID, Tribal members, NM disabled veterans, and NM foster families.

This program teaches participants traditional and contemporary gardening techniques connected to the history of the site.
