A Fundraising Event In Support of
Sonlight Christian Camp
At United Church Saturday, Oct. 17, 1-3 p.m.
For 42 years, Sonlight Christian Camp has provided families with wonderful camp experiences in a Christian setting.
COVID-19 nearly stopped all 2020 camp events, but the Sonlight staff got creative and hosted approved, socially distant, family camps – which were a hit – but not enough to sustain Sonlight through another year of COVID-19 related restrictions and increased expenses.
Sonlight is famous for their homemade cookies (they are good for the soul), and those craving a local Sonlight Cookie delivery are in luck!
The United Church of Los Alamos and Sonlight are working together to bring the cookies to you between 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, but you must reserve them by Oct. 15.

In exchange for the cookie delivery, please Fill The Dough Bowl to help ease Sonlight’s financial burden due to COVID-19.
Donations made above the $10 cost per dozen cookies will be applied to the Sonlight COVID-19 Relief Fund, which provides money for any expenses that are needed to sustain the camp.
Reserved cookies and refrigerated dough will be available for pickup at the United Church of Los Alamos at 2525 Canyon Road in Los Alamos, 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17. Extras will be available on a first come-first serve basis, just don’t forget to bring your cash or check to help Fill The Dough Bowl, and your masks.

Want some 2020 Sonlight Gear? The Sonlight Online Store will be live Oct. 7-14 for your orders. Choose “Pick-Up” instead of “Shipping” and set your pick-up time for 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, and your order will be delivered to you!
