Patrick Brenner is the man behind EDJ Werks and EDJ ink.

“My entire personal career has been in communications, public relations and printing,” Brenner explained. “Simple, creative, significant: three ideas incorporated into all of our projects. EDJ WERKS, the communications and public relations umbrella, develops the branding, identity and strategies for our clients’ campaigns. EDJ ink, the commercial printer, puts these ideas on paper and in the mailbox. Los Alamos is a great place to live, but a tough place to start a business. With all the focus on the lab, it’s difficult to diversify. We’re looking forward to many more years of providing the entire state of New Mexico with quality communications and print.”

Brenner originally moved to Los Alamos at the age of 13 with his family in 2005.

“My parents relocated the family after a career change,” Brenner said. “I attended UNM in Albuquerque and tried living outside of New Mexico in Utah, but that only lasted about eight months. I came back home to Los Alamos, because home is where the chile is at.”

EDJ WERKS and EDJ ink recently celebrated their 1st anniversary. The first of many, he said.
