The Spring film is The Passion of Joan of Arc, directed by Carl Theodor Dreye and starring Renée Jeanne Falonettie as Joan of Arc. This 1928 film follows the record of Joan of Arc’s trial in England and is considered a cinematic landmark.

The First Friday Silent Film Series celebrates the artistry and enduring impact of silent cinema through immersive screenings paired with live musical accompaniment. The Passion of Joan of Arc offers audiences a rare opportunity to experience one of film history’s most acclaimed masterpieces in the atmospheric setting of St. Francis Auditorium.
