SIERRA CLUB News:

Sierra Club Eco-Station Tour at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 8 … SPACE IS LIMITED SO SIGN UP NOW.

From Philcos to photons, see this Saturday how Los Alamos puts it all to good use. Receiving glass, wood crates, and refrigerators, your County is a hub for recycling and re-using. They power Barranca Mesa, too. 

This Saturday, March 8, from 10 a.m. to noon, tour the County’s recycling operations and solar panel installation with the Sierra Club and County Public Works Director Philo Shelton.

Up to 20 people can be accommodated; contact Iris Chung at itlchung@hotmail.com or 484.885.5622 to reserve a spot. This tour is free.

Carpooling is encouraged as parking at the Transfer Station is limited.
