Los Alamos County Sheriff’s Office News:

Two teenage girls who allegedly vandalized Recreation Bond election signs on San Ildefonso Road earlier this month have been apprehended and referred to Los Alamos Teen Court, according to Los Alamos County Sheriff Marco Lucero.

Lucero said he was asked to investigate damage to the signs, which advocated voting against the recent bond initiative. He set up cameras around the target location and was able to get video of the two teens involved in the vandalism.

After establishing the identities of the teens, Lucero filed charges against them including criminal damage to property and conspiracy to commit criminal damage to property.
