Shanghai Quartet And Pianist Robert McDonald Give Midsummer Concerts In Taos

The 53rd season of Taos School of Music continues with two midsummer concerts.  

Called “utterly sublime” by the New York Times, the Shanghai Quartet, with pianist Robert McDonald, comes to Taos Community Auditorium at 7:30 pm. Sunday, July 19.

On the program are Haydn’s String Quartet Op. 20, No. 4, Janacek: String Quartet No. 1, “Kreutzer Sonata” and Bridge: Piano Quintet in D Minor.

Robert McDonald also gives a solo program of Bach, Schubert, and Schumann July 22 at Taos Community Auditorium.
