SFNF: Workshop For Contractors, Small Businesses June 14

SFNF News:

SANTA FE — Are you a contractor or small business owner? Join Carson and Santa Fe National Forest staff, New Mexico Small Business Development Council (SBDC) and New Mexico APEX accelerator to learn more about how you can work with the USDA Forest Service and compete for government contracts.

Representatives from the SBDC, APEX Accelerator, and USDA Forest Service will help contractors and small businesses register to compete for government contracts, provide guidance on how to put products and services on sam.gov, and share any free resources available to local contractors.

This workshop is an opportunity for partners to connect with local contractors for future work within the Hermit’s Peak Calf Canyon (HPCC) burned area. Partners will be looking for contractors that provide a variety of services such as fence building, trail maintenance, and reforestation.

All local contractors and small business owners are welcome to join from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, June 14, at the Mora High School Atrium located at 10 Ranger Road, Mora, N.M., 87732.
