SFCC Campus To Close For UPS Installation July 12-14

SFCC News:

SANTA FE — Santa Fe Community College announces a contractor will install an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) for the Office of Information Technology (OIT) requiring a campus closure 5 p.m. Friday, July 12 through noon, Sunday, July 14.

During this period, all buildings at 6401 Richards Ave., will be closed, and no one will be allowed access during the time of the UPS installation.

Please be aware that some OIT systems will not be available during this time.

This maintenance will cause outages for:

  • Campus network, including Wi-Fi and internet.
  • Phones
  • VPN
  • Banner (i.e., course registration and grades)
  • SFCC Connect

The following will remain operational: 

  • Public website
  • Workday
  • Canvas
  • MS365 applications
  • Zoom
  • mySFCC (student portal)

Faculty and staff are advised to coordinate with their supervisors or deans if they have any concerns. Students should reach out to their instructors for any issues or questions they might have.

Please note: The Santa Fe Higher Education Center, 1950 Siringo Road, will be open on its normal schedule.
