Update: CodeRED has announced that clearing the accident site is expected to take several hours and advises motorists to delay travel or seek alternate routes.
COUNTY News:
A semi-truck rollover this afternoon on N.M. 502 near the Tewa Gas Station at mile marker 10, has led to the closure of the eastbound lane on N.M. 502.
The incident was reported at approximately 1:15 p.m. and no other vehicles were involved in the accident.
Los Alamos Police and the Santa Fe County Sheriff’s Office are on scene responding to the situation. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes while authorities work to clear the roadway.
