Self Help Receives Grant to Aid Children

Self Help, Inc., a community partner of the United Way of Northern New Mexico, has received a $4,000 grant from the The New Mexico Children’s Foundation.

New Mexico Children’s Foundation is unique. It is a visionary, grassroots organization that funds small non-profit children’s organizations throughout New Mexico. The foundation’s core belief is that many children have a wide range of under-served needs. The foundation’s goal is to provide meaningful grants to serve as many of those needs as possible.

Self Help Inc., formed in 1969, is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting people in need in northern New Mexico by providing brief case management, emergency funding, advocacy, and seed/education grants.
