‘Seeking Truth in Science & Faith’ Series Tackles Convergence Wednesday

The “Seeking Truth in Science and Faith in Los Alamos” talk and discussion series presents “Convergence!” 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, July 2 at United Church’s Craig Hall, 2525 Canyon Road.

In our era we stand at the convergence of several scientific areas which give us the opportunity to view the creation and our place in it in ways that even our parents or grandparents could not.  In other words, it is all new.

Presenter Paul Mutschlecner has chosen four of these disciplines: quantum mechanics, the large number of exoplanets, the development of human culture in ancient times, and cosmology to explore.

“What we make of this convergence in an enlightenment of ourselves in the universe and our spiritual connections is, of course, up to us individually, but we can hardly ignore this unique time for us!” Mutschlecner said.

If you have questions about science and faith, this discussion series may answer some of them.
