As the year wraps up, Los Luceros Historic Site in Alcalde, New Mexico, hosts a variety of activities for visitors.

The Sandhill cranes have migrated for the season to Los Luceros Historic Site! Visitors can see them during one of the many programs this November and December. Dawn ‘Til Dusk days offer free admission to New Mexico residents and children 16 and younger. Ranger Walk ‘N Talk tours are included with admission of $7 for adults and free to children 16 and younger. Admission is free to NM seniors on Wednesdays.

  • Dawn ‘Til Dusk Days: 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sundays, and 7 a.m. to 4:50 p.m., Nov. 2, and Dec. 7
  • Ranger Walk ‘N Talk: 10:30–11:30 a.m., Sundays, and 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., Wednesdays, (No tour on Dec. 24)
